This remarkably preserved and regenerated hotel has survived all that history has thrown at it; even the two world wars did not damage the stunning stained glass dome in the 1901 Ballroom and the gilded zodiac ceiling in the antique Masonic Temple. To contrast with these awe inspiring heritage features, the modern installations across the hotel are other factors worth writing home about. Andaz London Liverpool Street Weddings achieve that desirable mix of the traditional and the contemporary, to reflect the modern day institution of marriage. For couples wanting fuss free wedding planning, it’s always assuring to note that everything from catering to decorations can be sorted by the in-house events team. The exceptional Andaz chefs will devise a memorable meal to toast to on your wedding day in East London.

1901 Ballroom
Walking into this glistening white ballroom really does make an impression on your guests. It's a grade II listed dramatic backdrop to any occasion, and the glass dome casts a cool blue light over the cavernous marble interior. The white canvas provides a Pandora's box of possibilities when it comes to decorations and design. The room complements any colour palette and always radiates a sense of prestige and grandeur. The room can host up to 180 guests comfortably for all sections of your wedding day.
Bishopsgate and Chancery
This traditional Victorian style space is heavenly room to say I do. The Bishopsgate and Chancery rooms are interconnected, meaning that they can be used as a continuous space, or for different purposes. For example, it has previously worked well using the smaller Chancery Room as a break out space or a registration room to use during the ceremony. Across both function spaces, the high ceilings, period cornicing details, original fireplaces and large windows combine to make it a very pleasant setting to spend time in.
Fenchurch
The Fenchurch is another calming function space to tie the knot or bring your closest loved ones together to mark an occasion. The Fenchurch can accommodate up to 60 seated guests and 100 for a standing reception, and it is also licensed for ceremonies. The baby blue walls surround the room, creating a serene atmosphere, and the large windows add to the airy feel. The arched white plaster details are another attractive element, as well as the delicate chandeliers, that give the room an idyllic regal touch.
Masonic Temple
This secret compartment in the depths of the hotel is definitely one to consider for section of your wedding celebrations. The Masonic Temple at Andaz London Liverpool Street is Grade I listed, making it a fascinating relic of English heritage. Dating back to 1912, this room was originally only used by members of the Freemasons as a meeting space. The magnificent marble pillars, zodiac inspired ceiling and wraparound mahogany panelling creates a one of a kind setting for intimate dinners for up to 44 or drinks reception for 60 guests.
